NorHOA - Northern California Hockey Officials Association
All NORCAL games are officiated by members of NorHOA - Northern California Hockey Officials Association. Please email NorHOA staff to submit evaluations, ask questions about rules or officiating in general, or learn about the steps necessary to become an official.Game Scheduling Procedures
Officials for regularly-scheduled NORCAL A, BB and B games are arranged by the league through NorHOA.
To schedule officials for exhibition games arranged by member clubs or teams, a request must be made through each club's official scheduling contact and through the NORCAL scheduler. Every NORCAL member club has a person designated as the scheduling and ice contact. That is the only person from whom scheduling requests will be accepted.
Clubs or teams are not to contact NorHOA directly. NorHOA has been asked to return any such request back through the proper channels.

Officials Membership
All participants must register with USA Hockey as an Official and also must complete an annual officiating education program, which includes online education video modules, online playing rules exercises and a classroom seminar (in-person or virtual). Adult participants must also regularly complete a background screening and SafeSport education program. Please follow the link above for detailed information.
